| Prague connection renewed | | Constellation
PRAGUE — Constellation Executive Search of Prague is the newest member of IIC Partners, giving the organization five offices in Central and Eastern Europe.
IIC Partners COO Martin Vine said Prague provides a vital link in the CEE region. “We now have offices in Prague, Moscow, Warsaw, Vienna and Bucharest. Securing a seasoned and highly-recommended partner in Prague really strengthens our coverage in this region,” Vine said.
IIC Partners now has 48 offices in 34 countries, including 22 leading business centres in Europe.
“We’re very pleased to welcome Constellation and its founder, Jan Brázda,” said IIC Partners’ European Vice Chair Simon Waddington. “Jan is a very experienced, high-calibre and well-connected businessman and we expect his firm to do very well in this important market.”
Brázda is a former consultant in Spencer Stuart and current vice president of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic, who speaks Czech, English, Russian, French and German.
He is a former managing director of the World Trade Centre of the Czech Republic, where he organized trade missions for Czech President Vaclav Havel, as well as a former regional general manager for American Express in Central and Eastern Europe. He holds a Master’s degree from the University of Economics in Prague and an executive MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
Brázda said securing international capabilities for clients was a priority for Constellation.
“I have been working for international corporations for the past 15 years and I feel that being part of an international affiliation is extremely valuable for both clients and candidates,” he said. “We see more and more that clients prefer a diversified approach to search assignments, asking us to target talent pools in several countries, beyond the Czech Republic.
